Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the reported abduction of a teenager from Arunachal Pradesh by China, and said his silence shows he does not care, Rahul Gandhi said he is with the family of the missing boy Miram Taron, and will not lose hope<\/p>\n

\u201cA few days before Republic Day, an Indian has been kidnapped by China. We are with the family of Miram Taron and will not lose hope, will not give up \u201cPM\u2019s cowardly silence is his statement? \u2013 he does not care,\u201d he said in a tweet in Hindi<\/p>\n

Arunachal MP Tapir Gao said on Wednesday that the China\u2019s People\u2019s Liberation Army (PLA) has abducted a 17-year-old boy from inside Indian territory in Upper Siang district,<\/p>\n

The Congress also hit out at the BJP government saying, \u201cChina\u2019s audacity is increasing and so is BJP government\u2019s shamelessness\u201d<\/p>\n

Congress chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala questioned the prime minister as to how the Chinese dared to transgress in Indian territory and abduct its citizen<\/p>\n

\u201cDear PM, How dare Chinese Army transgress into our territory again? How can GOI permit abduction of our citizens,\u201d he asked on Twitter<\/p>\n

\u201cHow can GOI remain mum? Why is Govt not listening to the earnest appeal of its own MP,\u201d he also asked<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease don\u2019t say again \u2013 \u2018No one has come and no one has been abducted,? he said using the hashtag \u2018China\u2019.<\/p>\n
