Congress\u2019s leader Rahul Gandhi today slammed the government over the rise in petrol prices, diesel and cooking gas.<\/span><\/h1>\n

Rahul Gandhi criticized the centre, he said \u2013\u201cOver the last 7 years, the government has earned more than\u00a0\u20b9\u00a023 lakh crore because of the rise of diesel, petrol and cooking gas, and questioned, \u201cBut where is this money going?\u201d The increase in GDP he equated with the rise of \u201cGas, diesel and petrol prices\u201d.<\/p>\n

He further said \u2013\u201cWhen the UPA left office, the price of LPG was\u00a0\u20b9\u00a0410 a cylinder, today it is\u00a0\u20b9\u00a0885 \u2014 a 116 per cent rise. He also said the price of petrol has increased by 42 per cent and diesel has increased by over 55 per cent since 2014.<\/p>\n
