She had moved into the hotel because the MP&#8217;s home was being renovated.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Shashi Tharoor was charged with abetment to suicide and cruelty by the Delhi Police.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Former union minister, Shashi Tharoor is currently on bail in the case. He faced charge-sheet by Delhi Police under Sections 498-A (husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty) and 306 (abetment of suicide) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\">Tharoor thanked the judge, and said it was \u201can absolute torture for last seven-and-a-half-years&#8221; and that it was a \u201cgreat relief&#8221;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Delhi High Court on Monday discharged Congress leader Shashi Tharoor on all charges in connection with the Sunanda Pushkar death case.
