He was admitted to the ICU unit of Mumbai&#8217;s PD Hinduja Hospital on 30 June.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-offset-key=\"4ibif-0-0\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"4ibif-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"4ibif-0-0\">According to Dr Jalil Parkar -&#8221; Dilip Kumar passed away at 7:30 am on Wednesday after\u00a0 prolonged illness. <\/span><span data-offset-key=\"4ibif-0-0\">He was suffered from\u00a0<\/span>advanced prostate cancer that had spread to other organs of his body.<\/div>\n<div data-offset-key=\"4ibif-0-0\"><\/div>\n<div data-offset-key=\"dadjr-0-0\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"dadjr-0-0\">A Family friend Faisal Farooqui posted from the actor&#8217;s Twitter handle. \u201cWith a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, few minutes ago. We are from God and to Him we return,&#8221;<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"ebgid\" data-offset-key=\"5g9fk-0-0\">\n<div data-offset-key=\"5g9fk-0-0\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"public-DraftStyleDefault-block public-DraftStyleDefault-ltr\" data-offset-key=\"5g9fk-0-0\">The legendary actor&#8217;s career spanned six decades in Bollywood.
