He remained devoted to the development of villages and farmers throughout his life, for which he will always be remembered.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also paid tributes to the former PM, in a tweet he said, &#8220;I remember and salute Chaudhary Charan Singhji, former Prime Minister and country&#8217;s most respected farmer leader, on the occasion of his birth anniversary. Chaudhary Saheb continued to voice the problems of farmers for a lifetime and worked for their welfare. The country will always remember his contribution.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">&#8220;Chaudhary Charan Singh wanted that the income of farmers of the country should increase, their crops should get remunerative prices and the honor of farmers should be protected. Taking inspiration from him, our prime minister Narendra Modi took steps in the interest of farmers.
