The hunger strike from 8 am to 5 pm is part of the farmers&#8217; plan to intensify their agitation. They have planned demonstrations across the country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">On Sunday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said he will observe one-day fast today to show support for farmers, who are protesting against the three farm laws. He also appealed to all Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers and supporters to observe fast for a day in solidarity with protesting farmers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Minister of State Som Parkash met Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday as the farm unions plan to intensify their agitation against the recent farm laws.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Delhi Traffic Police in a tweet advised people to take alternative route as Gazipur border is closed for traffic coming from Ghaziabad to Delhi due to farmers protests<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cGazipur border is closed for traffic coming from Gaziabad to Delhi due to farmers protests. People are advised to take alternate route for coming to Delhi via Anand Vihar, DND, Chilla, Apsara &amp; Bhopra borders,\u201d Delhi Traffic police tweeted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah held talks with farmers to end the deadlock over the farm laws. However, the talks remained inconclusive as both sides remained firm on their positions.
