It came a day after BJP chief JP Nadda\u2019s convoy was attacked when he was heading towards Diamond Harbour area in West Bengal\u2019s South 24 Parganas district.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">MHA has summoned DGP and the Chief Secretary on December 14.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar today submitted his report to the Union Home Ministry on law and order in Bengal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">On Thursday, stones were hurled at the convoy of JP Nadda and party leader\u00a0Kailash Vijayvargiya when they were heading towards Diamond Harbour area in West Bengal\u2019s South 24 Parganas district.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Besides Nadda, a number of cars, including that of Kailash Vijayvargiya and Dilip Ghosh, were damaged in the attack.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">According to the sources, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is expected to visit West Bengal later this month.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ministry of Home Affairs on Friday summoned Director General of Police (DGP) West Bengal and the Chief Secretary over the law and order situation in the state.
