Everyone is choking in the city due to bad air; it must be curbed,\u201d said CJI.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The Solicitor General said the Centre will come out with the legislation in three to four days and the government is keen to establish a permanent body to address air pollution issue in Delhi-NCR arising from stubble burning in Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Mehta requested the Top Court to suspend its October 16 order, which directed the formation of a panel headed by retired judge Justice Madan B. Lokur, monitoring the stubble burning in Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The bench has now stayed its own order of appointing a &#8220;one-man committee&#8221;.
