As per reports CBI has registered a case in this incident and will soon dispatch teams to the crime scene.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">The Uttar Pradesh government on October 6 filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court over the Hathras incident, saying the court must direct a CBI investigation into the matter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">In its affidavit, the state government also requested the Top Court to monitor the CBI investigation into the case, alleging that \u201cvested interests are attempting to ascribe motive to derail a fair probe\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">The Yogi-Adityanath government also said that a CBI probe in the case will ensure no vested interests will be able to create a fake, false narrative with oblique motives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">The 19-year-old woman died after she was allegedly gang-raped by four men of her village. All four accused have been arrested.
