However, they have not ruled out the possibility of forming a BJP-LJP government in the state.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">The decision was taken in a meeting of the LJP parliamentary board in Delhi today.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Stressing on the party&#8217;s motto- &#8216;Bihar first-Bihari first, LJP&#8217;s National General Secretary Abdul Khaliq said that due to the ideological differences at the state-level with the JDU, the LJP has decided to fight the assembly elections separately.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">According to an official party release, &#8220;After the state elections, LJP MLAs will join the BJP to form the government. There is no bitterness between LJP and BJP, but ideological differences with JD(U).&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">LJP also said that while it would field candidates against JD(U), it would not do so in seats where the BJP is contesting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">The elections to elect 243-member Bihar assembly will take place in three phases. The first phase of elections will be held on October 28, the second phase of elections will be held on November 3 and the last phase of elections will be held on November 7.
