Further details shall follow.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Sighanpora area following inputs about the presence of terrorists there.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The search operation turned into an encounter after the terrorists fired upon security forces, who retaliated, triggering an encounter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The exchange of fire is currently going on.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Chinar Corps-Indian Army tweeted, \u201cOp Shiganpur, #Kulgam.
