The total tally of COVID-19 infections in the country now stands at 15,83,792.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">A total of 34,968 coronavirus patients have lost their lives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">There are 5,28,242 active cases while 10,20,582 people have been cured\/discharged, according to Health Ministry data.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">India, which has the third highest COVID-19 cases in the world, has been witnessing gradual improvement in recovery rate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The Union Health Ministry dedicated the achievement to the selfless sacrifice of frontline healthcare workers as the country crossed 10 lakh recoveries from coronavirus infections.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cIndia achieves the landmark of more than 10 lakh recoveries from Covid-19. This is an occasion to stand up and applaud our doctors, nurses and all frontline healthcare workers.
