A total of 28,732 coronavirus patients have lost their lives, the Union Health Ministry said on Wednesday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">There are 4,11,133 active cases while 7,53,049 have been cured\/discharged, according to Health Ministry data.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Maharashtra remains the worst affected state in the country. The total number of COVID-19 cases has risen to 3,27,031 with\u00a012,276 fatalities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Tamil Nadu has the second highest COVID-19 cases \u2013 1,80,643 with 2,626 deaths followed by Delhi \u2013 1,25,096 and 3,690 deaths, Karnataka \u2013 71,069 with 1,464 deaths, Andhra Pradesh \u2013 58,668 and 758 deaths, Uttar Pradesh \u2013 53,288 and 1,229 deaths and Gujarat \u2013 50,379 and\u00a02,196 fatalities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) on Wednesday said a total of 1,47,24,546 samples have been tested up to July 21 of which 3,43,243 samples were tested yesterday.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The number of coronavirus cases in India have risen to 11,92,915 as it recorded 37,724 fresh infections in the last 24 hours.
