Further details shall follow.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The security forces launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of terrorists in the area.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">When the security forces approached the area, terrorists fired upon them, which was retaliated, triggering an encounter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Chinar Corps-Indian Army earlier tweeted, \u201cOp Amshipora (#Shopian). Joint Operation was launched today early morning. The Security Forces were fired upon while laying the cordon, from the cow shed of the lone house in the orchard. Firefight ensued.
