{"id":324803,"date":"2020-07-17T13:12:22","date_gmt":"2020-07-17T13:12:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tehelka.com\/?p=324803"},"modified":"2020-07-17T13:12:22","modified_gmt":"2020-07-17T13:12:22","slug":"no-action-to-be-taken-against-sachin-pilot-dissident-mlas-till-tuesday-rajasthan-hc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tehelka.com\/no-action-to-be-taken-against-sachin-pilot-dissident-mlas-till-tuesday-rajasthan-hc\/","title":{"rendered":"No action to be taken against Sachin Pilot, dissident MLAs till Tuesday: Rajasthan HC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-324647 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/tehelka.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/sachin.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"477\" height=\"410\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tehelka.com\/media\/2020\/07\/sachin.jpg 477w, https:\/\/tehelka.com\/media\/2020\/07\/sachin-300x258.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 477px) 100vw, 477px\" \/>The Rajasthan High Court on Friday said no action will be taken against former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot and the18 Congress MLAs for now.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The Court asked the speaker to hold off on action against Team Pilot, who were issued disqualification notices by the Congress.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The Bench said that no proceedings will be initiated against Pilot and others till July 21.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Team Pilot&#8217;s challenge to disqualification notices will be heard again on July 20, said Court.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Ahead of the hearing, the Congress had accused Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat of conspiring with rebel MLAs against its government in Rajasthan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Congress Spokesperson\u00a0Randeep Singh Surjewala said,\u00a0\u201ctwo audio recordings have surfaced in which Congress MLA Bhanwar Lal Sharma, BJP leaders Shekhawat and Sanjay Jain were purportedly talking about the conspiracy to topple Rajasthan Government.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The Congress also suspended two MLAs Bhawarlal Lal Sharma and Vishvendra Singh, from the primary membership of the party for allegedly conspiring with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Surjewala said that Bhanwar Lal Sharma, Vishvendra Singh has been suspended from the primary membership of the party. The party has also issued show-cause notices to them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat refuted the charge and called the tapes fake.
