He was accompanied by Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Bipin Rawat and Army Chief General M M Naravane.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Singh visited Stakna after landing in Ladakh where the troops showed him paradropping skills of the armed forces.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cRaksha Mantri Shri @rajnathsingh witnessing para dropping and scoping weapons at Stankna near Leh,\u201d RMO tweeted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">This is the Defence minister\u2019s first visit to Ladakh since the faceoff with China began.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Rajnath Singh in a tweet said, \u201cLeaving for Leh on a two day visit to Ladakh and Jammu-Kashmir. I shall be visiting the forward areas to review the situation at the borders and also interact with the Armed Forces personnel deployed in the region.
