Further details shall follow\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">According to the police, a search operation was launched by the security forces early in the morning after receiving specific inputs about presence of terrorists in Nagnad area of Kulgam.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The search operation turned into an encounter when the hiding terrorists opened fire on the security forces who retaliated.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Chinar Corps-Indian Army earlier tweeted, \u201cOp Nagnad (#Kulgam). Joint Operation was launched today early morning on @JmuKmrPolice inputs. Cordon was laid &amp; contact established. Firefight ensued. One terrorist killed. One AK recovered.
