A total of 24,309 coronavirus patients have lost their lives, the Union Health Ministry said on Wednesday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">There are 3,19,840 active cases while 5,92,031 have been cured\/discharged, according to Health Ministry data.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Maharashtra remains the worst affected state in the country. The total number of COVID-19 cases has risen to 267665 with\u00a010,695 fatalities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Tamil Nadu has the second highest COVID-19 cases \u2013 1,47,324 with 2,099 deaths followed by Delhi \u2013 1,15,346 and 3,446 deaths, Gujarat \u2013 43,637 cases and\u00a02,069 fatalities, Karnataka \u2013 44,077 with 842 deaths and Uttar Pradesh \u2013 39,724 cases and 983 deaths.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">A total of 1,24,12,664 samples have been tested up to July 14 of which 3,20,161 samples were tested yesterday, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The number of coronavirus cases in India have risen to 9,36,181 as it recorded 29,429 fresh infections in the last 24 hours.
