A total of 22,674 coronavirus patients have lost their lives, the Union Health Ministry said on Sunday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">There are 2,92,258 active cases while 5,34,620 have been cured\/discharged, according to Health Ministry data.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Maharashtra remains the worst affected state in the country. The total number of COVID-19 cases has risen to 2,46,600 with\u00a010,116 fatalities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Tamil Nadu has the second highest COVID-19 cases \u2013 1,34,226 with 1,898 deaths followed by Delhi \u2013 1,10,921 and 3,334 deaths, Gujarat \u2013 40,941 cases and\u00a02,032 fatalities, Karnataka \u2013 36,216 with 613 deaths and Uttar Pradesh \u2013 35092 cases and 913 deaths.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">A total of 1,15,87,153 samples have been tested up to July 11 of which 2,80,151 samples were tested yesterday, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The number of coronavirus cases in India have risen to 8,49,553 as it recorded 28,637 fresh infections in the last 24 hours.
