A total of 18,655 coronavirus patients have lost their lives, the Union Health Ministry said on Saturday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">There are 2,35,433 active cases while 3,94,226 have been cured\/discharged, according to Health Ministry data.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Maharashtra remains the worst affected state in the country. The total number of COVID-19 cases has risen to 1,92,990 with\u00a08,376 fatalities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Tamil Nadu has the second highest COVID-19 cases \u2013 1,02,721 with 1,385 deaths followed by Delhi \u2013 94,695 and 2,923 deaths, Gujarat \u2013 34,600 cases and\u00a01,904 fatalities and Uttar Pradesh \u2013 25,797 cases and 749 deaths.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">A total of 95,40,132 samples have been tested so far of which 2,42,383 samples have been tested in the last 24 hours, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The number of coronavirus cases in India have risen to 6,48,315 as it recorded 22,771 fresh infections in the last 24 hours.
