A total of 16,095 coronavirus patients have lost their lives, the Union Health Ministry said on Sunday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">There are 2,03,051 active cases while 3,09,712 have been cured\/discharged, according to Health Ministry data.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Maharashtra remains the worst affected state in the country. The total number of COVID-19 cases has risen to 1,59,133 with\u00a07,273 fatalities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Delhi has the second highest COVID-19 cases \u2013 80,188 with 2,558 deaths, followed by Tamil Nadu \u2013 78,335 cases and 1,025 deaths,\u00a0Gujarat \u2013 30,709 cases and\u00a01,789 fatalities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">A total of 82,27,802 samples have been tested so far of which 2,31,095 samples have been tested in the last 24 hours, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The number of coronavirus cases in India have risen to 5,28,859 as it recorded 19,906 fresh infections in the last 24 hours.
