Joint Operation in progress.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Security forces had launched a cordon and search operation after receiving specific information about the presence of terrorists in the area.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">As the security forces approached, the hiding terrorists fired upon them, which was retaliated, triggering an encounter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Chinar Corps-Indian Army tweeted on Thursday, \u201cOp Chewa (#Pulwama). Joint Operation was launched today evening on @JmuKmrPolice inputs. Cordon was laid &amp; contact established. Firefight ensued.
