A total of 14,894 coronavirus patients have lost their lives, the Union Health Ministry said on Thursday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">There are 1,86,514 active cases while 2,71,696 have been cured\/discharged, according to Health Ministry data.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Maharashtra remains the worst affected state in the country. The total number of COVID-19 cases has risen to 1,42,900 with\u00a06,739 fatalities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Delhi has the second highest COVID-19 cases \u2013 70,390 with 2,365 deaths, followed by Tamil Nadu \u2013 67,468 cases and 866 deaths,\u00a0Gujarat \u2013 28,943 cases and\u00a01,735 fatalities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">A total of 75,60,782 samples have been tested so far of which 2,07,871 samples have been tested in the last 24 hours, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The number of coronavirus cases in India have risen to 4,73,105 as it recorded 16,922 fresh infections in the last 24 hours.
