Why were our soldiers sent unarmed to martyrdom?&#8221; Rahul Gandhi asked the government in a tweet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">His remarks came a day after he questioned PM Modi over his silence on the killing of Indian soldiers in Galwan Valley on Monday night.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cWhy is the PM silent? Why is he hiding? Enough is enough. We need to know what has happened. How dare China kill our soldiers? How dare they take our land?\u201d Rahul tweeted yesterday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday paid tribute to the martyrs of Galwan valley. In his address, PM Modi said, &#8220;I salute them for their great sacrifice in their service to the Nation. I pay tributes to them with my heartfelt gratitude. In this difficult moment of grief, I express my condolences to the families of these Martyrs.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cThis supreme sacrifice of our Martyrs will not go in vain. Whatever may be the situation and circumstances, India will firmly protect every inch of the country\u2019s land and its self-respect,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cI want to assure the Nation that the sacrifice made by our soldiers will not go in vain.
