A total of 9,195 coronavirus patients have lost their lives.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">There are 1,49,348 active cases while 1,62,378 have been cured\/discharged, according to Health Ministry data.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Maharashtra remains the worst affected state in the country. The total number of COVID-19 cases has risen to 1,04,568 with\u00a03,830 fatalities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Tamil Nadu continues to be the\u00a0second-worst hit state with\u00a042,687 Covid-19 cases and 397 deaths, followed by Delhi with 38,958 cases and 1,271 deaths,\u00a0Gujarat \u2013 23,038 cases and\u00a01,448 fatalities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">A total of 56,58,614 samples have been tested as on June 14 of which 1,51,432 samples have been tested in last 24 hours, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday held a detailed meeting with senior ministers and officials to review India\u2019s response to Covid-19 pandemic. The meeting reviewed the national level status and preparation in the context of the pandemic. The meeting also took stock of situation in different states and union territories including Delhi.
