The total number of COVID-19 cases has jumped to 72,300 with\u00a02,465 fatalities, according to Health Ministry.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Tamil Nadu continues to be the\u00a0second-worst hit state with\u00a024,586 Covid-19 cases and 197 deaths, followed by Delhi with 22,132 cases and 556 deaths,\u00a0Gujarat \u2013 17,617 cases and\u00a01,092 fatalities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">A total 41,03,233samples have been tested as on June 3, of which 1,37,158 samples have been tested in the last 24 hours, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The Health Ministry on Tuesday said the recovery rate is 48.07% amongst COVID-19 patients.
