The total number of COVID-19 cases has jumped to 65,168 with\u00a02,197 fatalities, according to Health Ministry.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Tamil Nadu continues to be the\u00a0second-worst hit state with\u00a021,184 Covid-19 cases and 160 deaths, followed by Delhi with 18,549 cases and 416 deaths,\u00a0Gujarat \u2013 16,343 cases and\u00a01,007 fatalities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The Ministry of Home Affairs on Saturday issued new guidelines for the fifth phase of lockdown which is slated to begin from June 1.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">As per the new guidelines, all activities outside containment zones have been allowed to resume in a phased manner for next one month.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The guidelines will come into effect from June 1, 2020 and will be effective till June 30, 2020.\u00a0The current phase of re-opening, unlock 1, will have an economic focus.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>India\u2019s COVID-19 cases has risen to 1,82,143 with 5,164 fatalities.
