There are 53,946 active cases while 34,108 have been cured\/discharged, the Health Ministry said on Sunday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Maharashtra, the worst affected state has crossed 30,000 mark, with over 18,000 positive cases in Mumbai.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra stands at \u2013 30,706, followed by Gujarat \u2013 10,988, Tamil Nadu \u2013 10,585 and Delhi \u2013 9,333.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, yesterday, during her press conference outlined the need for Policy reforms to fast track investments and the steps taken by the Government in this regard.
