There are 29,453 active cases while 11,706 have been cured\/discharged, the Health Ministry said on Monday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Maharashtra has highest COVID-19 cases \u2013 12,974, followed by Gujarat \u2013 5,428, Delhi \u2013 4,549, Tamil Nadu \u2013 3,023 and Rajasthan \u2013 2,886.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">India has today entered the third phase of the coronavirus lockdown, with several states set to ease some rules in areas that are free of the disease and considered medium risk.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">As many as twenty Central Public Health Teams from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare have been formed and are being sent to the 20 districts that are reporting the maximum number of COVID-19 cases in the country. These teams will support the States in implementation of containment measures for COVID-19 in the affected areas within these districts\/cities. The teams shall assist the State Government.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">According to the official release, Local administrations at the State, district and panchayat levels all across the country are continuing to take various initiatives to check the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
