{"id":322805,"date":"2020-05-02T09:01:59","date_gmt":"2020-05-02T09:01:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tehelka.com\/?p=322805"},"modified":"2020-05-02T09:02:02","modified_gmt":"2020-05-02T09:02:02","slug":"all-districts-of-delhi-under-red-zone-satyendar-jain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tehelka.com\/all-districts-of-delhi-under-red-zone-satyendar-jain\/","title":{"rendered":"All districts of Delhi under red zone: Satyendar Jain"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/tehelka.com\/all-districts-of-delhi-under-red-zone-satyendar-jain\/satyendar-jain\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-322806\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-322806 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/tehelka.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/satyendar-jain-300x275.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"619\" height=\"567\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tehelka.com\/media\/2020\/05\/satyendar-jain-300x275.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tehelka.com\/media\/2020\/05\/satyendar-jain-459x420.jpg 459w, https:\/\/tehelka.com\/media\/2020\/05\/satyendar-jain.jpg 460w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 619px) 100vw, 619px\" \/><\/a>Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain on Saturday informed that all eleven districts in Delhi will stay in the red zone till May 17.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">As per records Delhi reported 223 Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours taking the state total to 3738. 1167 people have recovered in Delhi with 61 deaths till date.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Government of India on Friday decided to extend the lockdown for a further period of two weeks with effect from May 4 till May 17.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) also issued new guidelines to regulate different activities in this period, based on the risk profiling of the districts of the country in to Red (hotspot), Orange and Green Zones.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">The most sensitive areas of the country, from the spread of COVID-19 point of view, and falling within the Red and Orange Zones, are designated as Containment Zones.\u00a0 These are areas where there is significant risk of spread of the infection.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Containment Zones would have intensified surveillance protocols, with contact tracing, house to house surveillance, home\/ institutional quarantining of persons based on their risk assessment, and clinical management.\u00a0 Strict perimeter control would need to be ensured, so that there is no movement of people in and out of these Zones, except for medical emergencies, and for maintaining supply of essential goods and services. \u00a0No other activity is permitted within the Containment Zones.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain on Saturday informed that all eleven districts in Delhi will stay in the red zone till May 17.
