He was hospitalized on Tuesday due to deteriorating health. Irrfan in 2018 had announced that he\u2019d been diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour and had undergone treatment abroad for several months in 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Shoojit Sircar tweeted information about Irrfan&#8217;s demise, he said, \u201cMy dear friend Irfaan. You fought and fought and fought. I will always be proud of you.. we shall meet again.. condolences to Sutapa and Babil.. you too fought, Sutapa you gave everything possible in this fight. Peace and Om shanti. Irfaan Khan salute.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Irrfan was known as the perfect actor. The whole film industry is in a deep shock after the news break out. Many politicians and celebrities around the world expressed condolences on the demise of Irrfan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Actor Amitabh Bachchan in a tweet said, \u201cjust getting news of the passing of Irfaan Khan .. this is a most disturbing and sad news ..
