There are 11,906 active cases and 1991 have been cured\/discharged, Health Ministry said on Saturday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Maharashtra has highest COVID-19 cases \u2013 3323, followed by Delhi \u2013 1707, Tamil Nadu \u2013 1323, Madhya Pradesh \u2013 1310 and Rajasthan \u2013 1229.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Several steps for prevention, containment and management of COVID-19 are being taken by Indian Government along with the States\/UTs. These are being regularly reviewed and monitored at the highest level, according to official release.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The Union Health Ministry on Friday said the doubling rate of Covid-19 positive cases in India has dropped to 6.2 days instead of the earlier three days.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cBefore lockdown, the doubling rate of Covid-19 cases was about 3 days, For the past 7 days, the doubling rate of cases now stands at 6.2 days,\u201d Lav Aggarwal, a senior Health Ministry official said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Rahul Gandhi today said that the coronavirus pandemic was a huge challenge but was also an opportunity. He said scientists, data experts and engineers needed to be mobilised to fight coronavirus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cThe #Covid19 pandemic is a huge challenge but it is also an opportunity.
