France and Germany have reported more than 130,000 cases so far.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">At a White House news conference on Tuesday, US President Donald Trump\u00a0had announced that he has halted funding to the\u00a0World Health Organization\u00a0(WHO) while a review is being conducted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Trump said the review would cover the WHO\u2019s role in severely mismanaging and covering up the\u00a0spread of COVID-19.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said,\u201d We regret the decision of Donald Trump to order a halt in funding to WHO. Together, we can improve the health of many of the world\u2019s poorest and most vulnerable people.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cWHO will continue to work with every country and every partner to serve the people of the world with a relentless commitment to science, solutions and solidarity,\u201d Ghebreyesus said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The deadly virus which was first reported from China\u2019s Wuhan has now affected almost all the nations across the world.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The novel coronavirus cases have crossed 2 million globally and over 130,000 have lost their lives due to deadly virus.
