The patient had a travel history to Dubai.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">According to the sources, the patient who hails from Kerala&#8217;s Ernakulam was admitted to hospital on March 22.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The man was brought in with the symptoms of pneumonia but later on tested positive for coronavirus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">State Health Minister KK Shailaja in a tweet said, \u201cStaying at home doesn&#8217;t mean we are not together in this. By standing alone we are becoming one for our society &amp; are giving strong messages to the society. Every one has creative ideas and this alone time can be used as an opportunity to showcase our ideas.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">India today has entered day-4 of its nationwide lockdown imposed by PM Modi to curb COVID-19.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The pandemic of COVID-19 has engulfed the entire world and has posed serious challenges for the health and economic security of millions of people worldwide. The Prime Minister\u2019s office has been receiving spontaneous and innumerable requests for making generous donations to support the government in the wake of this emergency.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Keeping in mind the need for having a dedicated national fund with the primary objective of dealing with any kind of emergency or distress situation, like posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, and to provide relief to the affected, a public charitable trust under the name of\u00a0\u2018Prime Minister\u2019s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund\u2019 (PM CARES Fund)\u2019 has been set up. Prime Minister is the Chairman of this trust and its Members include Defence Minister, Home Minister and Finance Minister.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">PM Narendra Modi has always believed and shown in actions that public participation is the most effective way to mitigate any issue and this is yet another example.
