Do you think I\u2019m too old to fight the polls?,\u201d he quipped\u00a0in a lighter tone, in response to a question during the press conference to mark\u00a0the third anniversary of his government.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Asked about the current role and status of party MLA Navjot Sidhu, Captain\u00a0 Amarinder said the former minister was still a part of the Congress and of the team<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">and \u201cwe will consider his wishes\u201d in taking any decision. The Chief Minister said he\u00a0had known Sidhu since the latter was two years old and had no personal issues<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">with him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">To a question about Sidhu meeting the central party leadership on Punjab issues\u00a0instead of taking it up with the state leadership, Captain Amarinder said he was\u00a0welcome to discuss any issue with anyone in the party.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Describing the Madhya Pradesh developments as their internal issue, Captain\u00a0Amarinder said it was for the Congress national leadership to comment on the\u00a0matter and his purview was confined to Punjab.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif;\">Dismissing the power subsidy being given by the AAP government in Delhi as\u00a0a drama by Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister said there was no comparison between Punjab and the national capital as the latter had no farmers or police to take\u00a0care of.
