{"id":320569,"date":"2020-02-28T03:26:48","date_gmt":"2020-02-28T03:26:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tehelka.com\/?p=320569"},"modified":"2020-02-28T03:26:48","modified_gmt":"2020-02-28T03:26:48","slug":"aap-suspends-tahir-hussain-after-fir-filed-against-him-for-ib-staffers-murder","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tehelka.com\/aap-suspends-tahir-hussain-after-fir-filed-against-him-for-ib-staffers-murder\/","title":{"rendered":"AAP suspends Tahir Hussain after FIR filed against him for IB staffer\u2019s murder"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-320570 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/tehelka.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/tahir.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"518\" height=\"471\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tehelka.com\/media\/2020\/02\/tahir.jpg 518w, https:\/\/tehelka.com\/media\/2020\/02\/tahir-300x273.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tehelka.com\/media\/2020\/02\/tahir-462x420.jpg 462w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 518px) 100vw, 518px\" \/>The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday announced that it had suspended Tahir Hussain after he was charged for his involvement in the murder of an Intelligence Bureau (IB) staffer Ankit Sharma.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The police said the FIR has been registered against Hussain in the killing of Ankit Sharma, on the basis of a complaint filed by Sharma\u2019s father.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Ankit Sharma, who had been missing since Tuesday evening, was recovered from a drain near Jafarabad on Wednesday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">His father Ravinder Sharma, who is also an IB employee, blamed Hussain and his supporters for the death.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The postmortem examination revealed that Sharma was brutally stabbed to death during the violence in northeast Delhi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">On Thursday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had said, \u201cAny person who is found guilty should be given stringent punishment. If any Aam Aadmi Party person is found guilty then that person should be given double the punishment.
