\"\"Blaming the Centre and the Delhi government for failure to control the violence in the national capital, Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi on Wednesday demanded the resignation of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Central Government, especially the Home Minister, is responsible for the current situation in Delhi. Taking responsibility, the Home Minister should resign with immediate effect,\u201d Sonia Gandhi said.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThere is a well-planned conspiracy behind the continuous traumatic accidents that have been happening since last Sunday,\u201d said Sonia.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Chief Minister & the Government of Delhi have also proved to be a complete failure in maintaining peace and are also responsible. The failure of both governments has made the country\u2019s capital a victim of this tragedy,\u201d she added.<\/span><\/p>\n

Top leaders including Sonia Gandhi, Manmohan Singh, AK Antony, Ghulam Nabi Azad, P Chidambaram, Priyanka Gandhi were present during the meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n

Where was the Home Minister of the country since last Sunday and what was he doing?<\/span><\/p>\n

Where was the Chief Minister of Delhi since last Sunday and what was he doing?<\/span><\/p>\n

What information was given by the intelligence agencies after the Delhi elections and what\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0action was taken on that?<\/span><\/p>\n

How many police forces were put in place from Sunday night, when there was a possibility of rioting?<\/span><\/p>\n

When the situation in Delhi was uncontrollable, Delhi Police could not control the situation, why were Central Paramilitary forces not called?<\/span><\/p>\n

The Interim President further said, \u201cthe Congress Working Committee believes that the situation is grave and it requires urgent action. Adequate security forces must be deployed immediately to bring the situation under control.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
