The court was hearing pleas seeking removal of anti-Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) protesters from Delhi&#8217;s Shaheen Bagh area.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The court said it is time for everyone to cool down.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The apex court had adjourned the hearing in the matter after the mediators submitted their report in a sealed cover on Monday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">On February 17, the Top Court had set up a mediation team to hold talks with the Shaheen Bagh protesters to move to another location\u00a0where no public place would be blocked.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Many people have been staging a sit-in protest at Delhi\u2019s Shaheen Bagh area since mid-December last year against the CAA and National Register of Citizens (NRC).<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The\u00a0Supreme Court\u00a0today fixed March 23 as the date for further hearing in the Shaheen Bagh matter.
