The matter will be heard on March 2.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Sara Abdullah Pilot has termed the renewed detention orders under the PSA as unconstitutional.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Omar Abdullah have already been under detention since August 5 in the wake of abrogation of Article 370 and bifurcation of the state into two union territories.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Several politicians were detained in August as part of the centre\u2019s massive crackdown after its decision to end special status to Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 of the constitution and split it into two union territories.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Supreme Court on Friday issued notice to the Jammu and Kashmir administration on the petition filed by Sara Abdullah Pilot challenging the detention of brother and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah under the stringent Public Safety Act (PSA).
