Her sister Chandranshu also joined the BJP at the same event.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Saina Nehwal said, \u201cI am a very hardworking person and I like hardworking people. I can see Prime Minister Narendra Modi does so much for the country and it will be my honour to contribute for the country.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">She said she is\u00a0thankful to the BJP for giving her this opportunity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">After joining the party Siana Nehwal and her sister met BJP president JP Nadda.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">She is the latest sportsperson to join the party after cricketer Gautam Gambhir and wrestler Babita Phogat.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Badminton champion Saina Nehwal on Wednesday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
