The review meeting will be held at Manesar near Gurugram on January 23 and 24.\u00a0\u00a0 Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, General (Retd.) V.K. Singh will also attend the meeting, the statement said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The progress of about 500 projects especially struck\/delay projects will be taken up during the meeting. These projects involve a cost of about Rs. 3 lakh crore, the statement added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">On Day &#8211; One, projects of South Zone (Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telengana, Pondicherry, Karnataka) and Central Zone (Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and\u00a0Gujarat) will be reviewed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The projects of Haryana, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal will be taken up\u00a0on Day-Two.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The projects in the States of Punjab, Jammu &amp; Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra and Goa\u00a0will be taken up afterwards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">It may be stated that issues related to projects of North-Eastern States, and NHIDCL have already been\u00a0reviewed in a separate meeting held on January 7, New Delhi, the statement said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Various stakeholders numbering about 600 Concessionaries\/ Contractors\/ Bankers and concerned officials of Union Governments &amp; its Departments\/ Organisations, State NH Division, State PWD Departments\u00a0etc. will be attending the review meeting.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">This meeting is an important platform for ironing out issues and exploring way forward for pending\u00a0projects and helps in expediting the implementation, it said.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Union Minister Nitin Gadkari\u00a0will chair a two-day review meeting of all on-going projects of NHAI \/ MoRTH.
