We are with you but against death penalty,\u201d Jaising tweeted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">A Delhi court yesterday issued a fresh death warrant against four Nirbhaya convicts and set a new date for their execution.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The four convicts will be hanged on February 1, at 6 AM as per the new directive of the court.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The new warrant was issued hours after President Ram Nath Kovind rejected a mercy plea filed by Mukesh Singh, one of the convicts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The 23-year-old paramedic student was gang-raped and brutally assaulted on the intervening night of December 16-17, 2012 in a moving bus in the national capital.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">She passed away at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore while undergoing the treatment.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Senior advocate Indira Jaising has urged Nirbhaya&#8217;s mother Asha Devi to forgive the men convicted for the 2012 gang rape and murder of her daughter.
