Indian nationals residing in Iraq are advised to be alert and may avoid travel within Iraq,\u201d Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said in a tweet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cOur Embassy in Baghdad and Consulate in Erbil will continue to function normally to provide all services to Indians residing in Iraq,\u201d the statement said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Earlier in the day, the US Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) restricted all US airlines from flying over Iraq, Iran, and the waters of the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As tension in the Middle East deepens, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs on Wednesday issued a travel advisory for Iraq, asking Indians to avoid non-essential travel to the region.
