Communal harmony is our motto. We will not allow NRC. We will not allow CAB.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Earlier in the day, Mamata in a tweet said, \u201cA mega rally will be held today in #Kolkata to protest against unconstitutional #CABBill &amp; #NRC. It will begin at 1pm near the statue of Babasaheb Ambedkar on Red Road &amp; end at Jorasanko Thakurbar.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cCome, let us all, every section of society, join this people\u2019s movement in a peaceful manner within the ambit of law,\u201d she added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">After the citizenship Act passed by Rajya Sabha, several states in the country boiled in protests against the bill.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">On Sunday evening, protests against the law turned violent in Delhi&#8217;s Jamia Milia Islamia University and the Aligarh Muslim University in Uttar Pradesh. Many students and policemen were injured in clashes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The Supreme Court today said it will hear petitions on the police action against student groups protesting against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019, held in Jamia and Aligarh University only when the violence stops.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cLet the rioting stop (first).
