Those questions we thought would be answered, ranging from national security to rights of locals in various states of India,\u201d Uddhav Thackeray office tweeted on Tuesday<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cIf these queries are not answered, we won\u2019t be supporting the CAB in the Rajya Sabha. Every party supporting or opposing it, is asking for clarity in national interest. Clarity must be ensured,\u201d the statement added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The Citizenship (Amendment) Bill seeks to grant Indian Citizenship to persons belonging to Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi and Christian communities who have migrated to India after facing persecution on grounds of religion in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh, if they fulfil conditions for grant of citizenship.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Citizenship (Amendment) Bill which was cleared by the Lok Sabha on Monday will be tabled in the Rajya Sabha today.
