The base was placed on lockdown for several hours, sources said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The incident took place at the vicinity of the shipyard\u2019s Dry Dock 2.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Officials said on Wednesday evening that investigators were working to determine the circumstances of the incident at the Pearl Harbor shipyard.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in a tweet said, \u201cOfficials at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam report the shooting incident at the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard has been secured. One person is confirmed dead.
