Mehta has told the top court that Ajit Pawar gave the letter of support of 54 NCP MLAs to Governor BS Koshyari, as legislative party leader of the NCP.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Mehta said Fadnavis had staked claim, citing 170 MLAs in his support.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u201cThis letter cited support by 54 NCP MLAs.
