All sides submitted their arguments. These three parties \u2013 NCP, Congress and Shiv Sena challenged the Governor&#8217;s decision to administer the oath to Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Kapil Sibal and Manu Singhvi argued on behalf of the three parties. After hearing all the sides, the bench pronounced their order.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Mukul Rohatgi, who appeared for the BJP in the Apex Court, said, \u201cI do not know why the hearing is being held on Sunday, there should be no hearing on Sunday. According to me this case (petition of Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress) should not be listed.\u201d However, the court said that the matter has been filed so nothing can be done on it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar were sworn in by Governor Koshyari on Saturday morning after dramatic midnight developments, leading to the lifting of President&#8217;s Rule in Maharashtra.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The opposition parties have accused Governor BS Koshyari of acting illegally.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Senior Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala on Saturday lashed out at BJP. He termed BJP as \u2018Contract Killer Of Democracy\u2019.
