On October 8, the Minister will\u00a0participate in the opening ceremony of\u00a0infrastructure that Mongolia has already constructed\u00a0for the Indian funded, Mongol Refinery\u00a0project, the statement said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">During the visit, Pradhan will hold meetings with the Mongolian Minister\u00a0for Mining and Heavy Industry to, inter alia,\u00a0develop a roadmap for commencing the construction of the Refinery. Possible areas of collaboration in other sectors like mining, coking coal, and railways will also be discussed, it said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The Minister will call on the Prime Minister and President of Mongolia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The Mongol Refinery project is being\u00a0developed under a line of credit\u00a0of US$1.236\u00a0billion extended by India during Prime Minister Narendra Modi\u2019s visit to Mongolia in 2015 and subsequently enhanced during the State visit of the President of Mongolia\u00a0to India in September 2019, it added.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan will be visiting Mongolia on October 7-9, as a follow up of the State visit the President of Mongolia to India in September.
