Kalraj Mishra, Governor of Himachal Pradesh is transferred and appointed as Governor of Rajasthan. Bandaru Dattatraya replaces Kalraj Mishra in Himachal Pradesh.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Former union minister Arif Mohammed Khan has been appointed the Governor of Kerala and Bhagat Singh Koshyari as the Governor of Maharashtra.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The above appointments will take effect from the dates they assume charge of their respective offices, the statement said.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, chief of BJP\u2019s Tamil Nadu unit and former union minister Bandaru Dattatreya were among the five new governors announced by President Ram Nath Kovind on Sunday.
